The TSRLF is a control unit for the control of an external actuator for the construction of a transformer switching relay. It enables fast switching and switching of high-power single-phase transformers. External thyristors or semiconductor relays act as actuators.
The soft-on-on-method controls the connected actuator in such a way that one or more single-phase transformers can be operated at no-load or under load, without an inrush current surge. For example, welding transformers with rated currents above 32 A.
